Well, if you believe what you read on social media, January is supposed to have at least twice as many days as any other month of the year, but it whizzed past without me sending an update! So this one comes perfectly timed to wish you love and blessings for Imbolc instead.
Also called Saint Brigid's day, Imbolc falls on1 February, midway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Believed to be an important date in ancient times, Imbolc was originally a pagan festival associated with the goddess Brigid. Traditions include weaving a Brigid's cross, or making a Brigid doll to protect against fire, illness, and evil spirits. To receive her blessings, people would visit holy wells, hold special meals, and even provide food and drink, a bed and clothing for Brigid to bless.

Calling all angels - Goddess Brigid
Celtic goddess of the sun, fire , poetry, song, healing, childbirth, and unity, Brigid is guardian of poets, musicians, and scholars.
Born at the moment of daybreak, she rose into the sky with the sun, rays of fire beaming from her head. Her gifts are light (knowledge), inspiration, and the vital, healing energy of the sun. It is said that wherever she walked, small flowers appeared.
In Druid mythology, she was fed milk from a sacred cow from the Otherworld. She owned an orchard there, and her bees brought their magical nectar back to earth.
Brigid is said to reward offerings to her- coins were thrown into wells with this intention- throwing a penny into a fountain and making a wish might originate from this.
